The NEW Federal Government Home Renovation Tax Credit Rebate Program
is now available.

Homeowners undertaking new home renovation projects can now receive up to $1,350 in tax relief.

This program covers:
      • Renovating a kitchen, bathroom or basement
      • Installation of carpet or hardwood floors
      • Building an addition, garage, deck, garden/storage shed, fence
      • A new furnace, woodstove, boiler, fireplace, water softener
        or water heater
      • A new driveway or resurfacing a driveway
      • Painting of interior or exterior of your home
      • Laying sod
      • Swimming Pools
        (Permanent - in ground and above ground)
      • Fixtures – lighting/fans, etc.
      • Plus Associated costs such as permits, professional
        Services, equipment rentals and incidental expenses.

ecoENERGY/ecoACTION Retrofit -
Homes Grant Payments

Also available to homeowners is ecoENERGY Retrofit Program which provides home and property owners with grants of up to $5,000 to offset the cost of making energy-efficiency improvements. ecoENERGY Retrofit grants apply to a host of measures that reduce energy consumption and provide for a cleaner environment, from increasing insulation to upgrading a furnace. Only homes that have undergone a residential energy efficiency assessment by an energy advisor certified by Natural Resources Canada will be eligible for grants.
